Facebook entered consumers’ top ten favorite source of information about a brand and 60% of consumers said they learned about a brand or retail trough social networking sites while researching online.
What’s even more interesting is that 3 out of 5 active social network users are creating and publishing brand and product reviews online. The main reason they do so it to give credit to the company where credit is due… or to receive a discount!
Considering consumers reviews are consumers’ second best source of information, managing relationships with active social network users could only but make sense for Brands.
